Ladies Rathgar 5 - Class 7 won against Glenalbyn 3-1 the fifth match unfinished because of the 3 wins (all singles) and are now in the QF's against Leixlip tomorrow Sat, 19th June   Liz O'K

Rathgar 4th team mens

We lost in the playoff yesterday evening to Glenalbyn 3 by 3-1 with one game called off court because match had been lost at that stage.

We won third singles in two sets.We lost second singles in three sets.We lost both doubles in two sets.First singles game was one set all (both tie break sets) when we were called off court becuase we had lost 3 matches at that point.
I thought Glenalbyn 3 were a significantly stronger team than the Glenalbyn 2 team we played in the group stages.   Eddie

Ladies 5th Team

After all my giving out about teams not sending in results, it turns out that I am the main culprit!  So here are the results from the Class 7 team. 

Beat Shankill                 3 – 2
Beat LCC                      5 – 0
Beat de vesci                 5 – 0
Lost Glenageary            2 -  3

 Bective up next Tuesday night the 8^th June and with still one point more than Glenageary having lost to them,
we are in with a shout for the play offs!  Let’s GO!          Liz O'K

Results from Ladies 4th league team.

Doubles;    Rachel Moloney & Susan Murphy
                 Sheila Walshe   & Joan Ennis. 
Singles      Ruth Moore,   Eileen Giblin,  Annelle Meenan.
 
On 12th May we went to Wicklow and came away with a 5/0 win. 
On 18th May we played at home against Arklow and won 3/2. 
On 25th May we played at home against Ashbrook and won 4/1.
 
Thanks to the subs who have come on board as Joan and Ruth recover from injuries.  Eileen.

Ladies 2nd & 3rd  -  On May 25th although captain I subbed up to second team (We won 5 -0 ) .
Alas my own team  ( Ladies 3rd ) were unsuccessful but managed a very important 2 points. Veronica D. was acting captain on the night.  Marion H

Rathgar 4 mens team were beaten by Glenalbyn last Saturday by 3-2.  
Rathgar won the mens 1st and 2nd singles and very narrowly lost the other three.Mens 3rd singles and second doubles went to three sets both of which we narrowly lost and mens first doubles was lost in two sets, but the first set was 7-5 so they put up a game battle as well.  Eddie

Rathgar Mens 3rd Team 28th May
Won 4-1 against Naas at Naas on Friday evening . Marko led the way as number one and Andrew also won his singles. The two doubles won in two sets each. Will lost a long cliff-hanger 7-5 in the third.  Philip

Rathgar 4 Mens summer League team beat LCC Rathmines by 4-1 on
Saturday 22/5/2010.
It was almost a clean sweep as first doubles only lost their match on a tie break in the third set.   Eddie

Rathgar Ladies 2nds - Not sure if you got the first match results against Leixlip, but we won 4/1 away in that match
Our second match was against Meadowvale at home and we won 5/0   Joanne

Rathgar Ladies 3rd team won 3  -  2  against Malahide 17th May.
