Rathgar participates enthusiatically in all the DLTC leagues and also the Ladies Charity league in which we have had notable success over the past years. League tennis offers an opportunity to really test one's ability and there can be a great team spirit engendered in the teams that RTC puts out.

Our top mens and ladies teams play in class 3 of the DLTC leagues and if you are interested in playing league we'll almost certainly have a team in a division that is appropriate for you.  Just in order of appearance, the DLTC leagues are Winter (Jan-Feb), Summer (April-May), Mixed league (July), Senior League (September), Floodlit Leagues (October). We compete in all of these. We also on occasion host finals days for DLTC or Junior Regional finals for Tennis Ireland.

If you check out our online 'hall of fame' on the wall in the club with pictures of victorious teams, you'll be able to see many of the stalwarts of the club who have partipated in these leagues over the years. The DLTC Winter League is in process at the time of writing. We have entered four mens and three ladies teams, the format is three doubles pairs per team, so we look forward (as usual) with optimism!.
